Online education trends for 2020 show that part of the market is leaning toward interactive digital learning, such as game-based learning, VR, and AR technologies. A search conducted for the optimal delivery systems. A philosophy was chosen to allow the educators the ability to produce all of the digital media outside of the learning management system. For the adult learner in mind, three educational delivery applications were chosen for asynchronous learning. They are LearnWorlds, Kajabi and Joomla. They were all chosen for different reasons from best overall, best marketing capabilities and the best on a budget.
All three of the chosen systems do not require any additional connectivity than a computer with an internet connection. The courses can be accessed anywhere the user has a connection. With personal hotspots readily available on most smartphones, connectivity to the course offerings are always available. The systems are holistic without the need to integrate with other applications and they are also available via cross platform. Meaning they are available on a Windows or Mac computer as well as Android or iOS devices. No additional equipment is needed to build these courses and they do not require integration with outside platforms. Courses can be created using any of the professional tools that the creative world provides and the finished product can be uploaded to the system of your choice.
